when we say family farm, we mean it

We’re Jennifer and Matt Vahldick, and together with our kids, we run Moxie Farms from sunup to sundown. This isn’t just where we work... it’s where we live, raise our children, and pour our hearts into growing the kind of food we’re proud to serve our own family (and yours).

On any given day, you’ll find us moving cattle to fresh pasture, collecting eggs with little hands helping along the way, harvesting vegetables at their peak, or sitting down together for a meal made from food we raised ourselves. Every season brings its own challenges and rewards, and we’re in it together as a family.

We believe the best food comes from farmers who know their land and care deeply for every animal they raise. That’s why we’ve committed to regenerative farming practices that build healthy soil, protect our water, and leave the land better than we found it. This approach takes more work, more time, and more patience — but it’s worth it for the flavor, the nutrition, and the legacy we’re leaving for our children.
